AWE commences Tui tie-back program

The development follows the recent arrival of the DOF subsea diving support vessel, the Skandi Singapore, at PMP 38158.

The project involved the installation and commissioning of subsea pipelines, manifolds and ancillary support equipment, in water depths of about 124 m, to connect the Pateke-4H development well to the Tui field gathering system.

The subsea tie-back and installation project will coincide with a two-week planned shutdown of the floating production storage and offloading facility for inspection and maintenance activity.

First production from Pateke-4H is expected in April.

Joint venture partners in PMP 38158 are AWE (operator, 57.5 per cent), New Zealand Oil and Gas (27.5 per cent) and Pan Pacific Petroleum (15 per cent).
